Firelight has appointed Philip Bucknell of Siesta Key, Fla., as a director
and vice-president of the corporation, subject to the approval of the
Canadian Venture Exchange.
Mr. Bucknell brings with him a wealth of financial experience as well as a
legal background, having graduated with a LLB (honours) from Southhampton
University. His experience includes 20 years as a stockbroker/institutional
investment manager with major firms in London, England. He was responsible
for management of several large pension funds and unit trusts. He has also
been involved in advising on development, acquisitions, restructuring and
business plans for both public and private companies. Most recently, Mr.
Bucknell was a full-time consultant to Citibank Global Asset Management
working on the euro implementation project for its worldwide investment
management operation with regard to defining and implementing necessary
changes to its operations for the advent of the euro.
Mr. Bucknell is to be issued stock options for 210,000 common shares at an
exercise price of 44 cents per share and remuneration of 5,600 common
shares per month at a deemed price of 44 cents per share for a total of
67,2000 common shares.
Eric Friesen of Langley, B.C., has been appointed as marketing manager and
is to be issued remuneration of 5,000 common shares per month at a deemed
price of 44 cents per share for a total of 60,000 common shares."
