We are both correct. How do you make one possible without the other. GET RID OF THE CURRENT POLITICAL FINACNCING SCHEME. If we have to, go to a national campaign financing plan. The gov. can't continue to operate this way; and still keep any credibility. Secondly, we need to get rid of, and or limit negative campaigning. Businesses have learned long ago not to get into a mud throwing contest; why can't our politicians get that into their heads. You are correct in that the gov. needs to consult with businesses to come up with a national energy plan; but gov. should also consult with other groups, such as EPA and consumer organizations, to come up with a energy plan which serves the interests of all.

While you and I may think they are absurd, the charges will have a life of their own, unless GW confronts the charges head on. And that may not be easy, but with GW's current popularity, it should be done sooner than later. |
