last time I read a reference about amd's debt the opinion of the analyst is that it was about to be upgraded. Are you sure that we are talking about the same company. Amd's spread is far lower than the average spread for the boinds with the same rating. I would love to see the documents stating that amd's senior debt is currently in default while selling at premium. (I assume that you ment amd's senior debt issues because I do not know of any loans that amd took)
I have read Tom's page as well and he is currently made peace with intel. But if you do not trust tom why don't you read NY times article about this deal. My understanding is that NYT is not printing mass hysteria.
The opinion about timing is not just mine but can be found on bloomberg terminal under amd or intel. But have not posted it because of them that was my conclusion as well.
I was not talking about cebit demo of 433MHz system. Just ask Rod and he will tell you about it. It was pentium pro with water-cooling()no kidding) and refrigirator (no kidding)
amd did not demo k6 on cebit but rather displayed an actual working model of the chip that is in production as of now and is scheduled to be released on april 2nd. While intel indeed demoed their 266MHz chip that is not in production yet.
So what is mass-hysteria and what is reality?
