diskeeper6.0 ....

i'm thinking about trying diskeeper.

diskeeper.com

they just came out with a new version, so it may be a good time to jump in. i see they have trialware. they refer to it as an evaluation copy.

has anyone here tried the trialware? anyone run the program? i am really being drawn by the set and forget aspect of diskeeper, as opposed to the manual defraggers. win2000, as some may have heard me note, is really prone to fragmentation. i'd like the ease of having a defrag op running all the time.

if anyone is interested, here is a good piece on fragmentation in win2000

microsoft.com

it's on a mister softee site, but "the article is courtesy of Executive Software International", the makers of diskeeper.

i need to discover any potential conflicts between symantec and diskeeper6.0. any input from the IT people here would be sweet, and appreciated!

:)
