Dr. Summers:
Long-time no hear from. I am starting to miss the banter between you and the Jim Jones cool-aid kids. From posts over the last two days I sense that even they are growing so weary of the ABMI "story" that they are reverting now to telling each other their own stories. Anyway, I have a favor to ask.

Please refer to post 1378 which seemed to have a comprehensive list of ABMI's products. First of all, OH GREAT ONE is always saying what a great fit ABMI would be with AVEI as their products could be bundled together (see post 1408). Yet when I review post 1378 I see no PTCA balloon, no balloon for transporting a stent, and no high-pressure balloon used to spring a stent. Please tell me what I am missing as I do not see any catheters in ABMI's portfolio which are used frequently by an interventional cardiologist. Just because is says catheter doesn't mean there is a fit. Thus, I think M&A talk is a complete and utter joke. I realize you have a vested interest in a M&A scenario so don't try any BS.

Secondly, I would like your opinion as to which of the products listed in post 1378 are still "alive" at ABMI. Which ones are currently in such a state where they can be manufactured tomorrow and sold next week? Also which catheters represent huge markets? I see a few potential base hits in niche markets but no home runs. Where am I wrong?

Thirdly, is the intended use of the Omnifilter carotid surgery? And is this filter designed to be used with the current scalpel/temporary bypass technique or with stents?

Fourthly, what is the Omnistent indication - AAA?

Fifth, was the Foley catheter ever made and sold, and how did you get away using the Foley name since that is a Bard Urology trademark to my knowledge.

Thanks.
