Ellison of McNealy who said the network is the computer McNealy. And indeed you are right, CDs will become virtually obsolete. You can see the future in a simple app like Hotmail, accessable anywhere, anytime, from any computer. It'll be the same when our home boxes are connected all the time. We'll use apps located on servers to edit files on our home computers. Right now I am downloading some live Greatful Dead shows, listening to others, and searching for image files on the web, and checking my stocks.
