I recall problems and uprising in Germany from my memory, no need to check. I also recall US economy (GNP) dropping by 10% in early 20's, then recovery to almost pre-war levels purely based on optimism that followed 1st by monetary problems in early 30's as a start of economic depression. There was a huge drop in early 30's that followed by sharp turn toward recovery that lasted non-stop to early 50's. Am I way off so far and still need to look it up or my vague recallection is not as bad as I am afraid it is?
