'cocaine, heroin, and cannabis were widely available over the counter'
not to mention morphine. i know and there was a time in this country when things like slavery were legal and then there were even more recent times when the execution of a race in germany was common practice. notice what democratic free society puts an end to the ills through majority rule and people's freedom of choice in what is tolerated and accepted and what is not.
the relationship between crime and drug use is a given, does any one else here dispute that?
'i believe you will find most of the crimes that are allegedly drug related find their casual factor in the prohibition'
so i will seriously ask again and if its twisted logic, just state that and i will leave it. from that sentence is it fair for me to assume drug related crime will decrease if drugs are legalized and therefore made more available?
