The virus is bad enough, but the economic carnage that we are doing to ourselves now out of sheer panic is going to ruin millions upon millions of Americans' lives for decades to come. This is absolutely irresponsible

So true. This is a major problem in a couple of areas.. Seems NYC and Seattle ground zero.. This is bioterrorism and it worked. I get the logistical problems unique to NYC because of this. I grew up there but we don't the need total nationwide shutdown and $6T because of this. What is the future loss because we might save a couple thousand terminal older people with health conditions? What happens the next time we get a pandemic? They are coming more and more often. Record flu season last year 62k people died in USA I never hear anybody talk about that..

Liberals on twitter revolting. Equating 401k's versus incremental loss of life.. Freaking out over Dan Patrick of TX statement..

Most people work in small businesses,,,Go to a restaurant every day get some take out food to support them cause most are now on life support. The young kids working there get it. Even they think this was a massive over reaction has to end soon or most all these businesses will close for good.. We'll be left with Amazon, WalMart, JP Morgan and Wells Fargo..
