1099-B Question ...

(I also posted this message on a tax-related thread)

I owned USRX in 1997, which was converted to COMS after the merger. I was given the equivalent number of COMS shares, plus a 'Cash in Lieu' amount to cover the difference. This 'Cash in Lieu' is listed on my 1099-B. Where do I claim this amount on my tax return?

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
