May AGP cards will cause the instant destruction of any P4 system. Both 845 and 850 based. It seems that Intel failed to meet the AGP spec it designed.

AGP cards come in two types, low voltage and high voltage. Both types use the same slot. All AMD motherboards and chipsets accommodate either card, but Intel P4 systems are instantly destroyed by any of the various 3 volt AGP cards that exist.

No need to make up some bizarre scenario where an entire heat sink assembly (which is clamped on with considerable force) falls off.

Just plug one of the two types of AGP card into any P4 system and you're smokin!
