Hello Jeffrey...logged onto the playsite a couple of days ago under the new Lycos banner. It is really nicely done. I had some experience with Chessmaster and while that is also a very good program the users were subjected to a long drawn-out beta process with numerous new downloads required. Anyway I tried to play Euchre on the playsite but it looks like all the retired people haven't found it yet, can't wait until they do, maybe my mother-in-law will never leave her computer again. ;) The Java apps are slowly gaining a foothold in the online world. I am already using Yahoo's Java Portfolio Manager. You can see how these are going to improve the functionality of web sites but for now many are still quite slow and rudimentary.
