Here is the mention (from wsj.com) of the Oppenheimer recommendation that was on CNBC's "Squawk Box" show on Tuesday (3/17):

Dow Jones Newswires -- March 17, 1998

CIBC Oppenheimer Strategist Advises
Chasing Some Small Stks

Dow Jones Newswires

NEW YORK -- Paul Rabbitt, senior portfolio strategist at CIBC
Oppenheimer, named New Dimension Software Ltd. (DDDDF), Thermo
Electron Corp. (TMO) and Delphi Financial Group Inc. (DFG) as
favorites during an appearance on CNBC Tuesday.

New Dimension, of Tel Aviv, develops systems-management software for
complex distributed systems. Thermo Electron, Waltham, Mass., makes
environmental monitoring and analysis instruments and biomedical
equipment. Delphi Financial, Wilmington, Del., is the parent company of
Reliance Standard Life Insurance Co. and Safety National Casualty Corp.

Rabbitt also recommended investors "chase" small-cap stocks with good
growth rates.
