It is absolutely unbelievable that a guy who posts such pseudo-scientific nonsense can have developed a following on SI as something of a seer. This from a guy who confidently assured us just last Wednesday that the "Houses" were not going to let the market go down much further. Anyone who actually believes any of this garbage is as much a fool as the guy who posts it is full of bs.

Bridge Player:

You just gotta believe!!! The guy, "Voltaire" does have a following (Oh bye the way, he doesn't ask for it, we ask him.) You see I followed him when he left AOL to go into QCOM, I am grateful to him that he left and I had the sense enough to follow him........had I not I would not be in the healthy financial position I am today. I have more tripled my money since March with Voltaire"s help.

I for one appreciate any opinion Voltaire gives. Of course he is only human and he just might be wrong every now and then, however, the times he is right has been worth it all.
Like more ups than downs makes for a happy camper.

Hope you did not take him to serious and put your whole farm on a days trading last week.

We all need to do our own research. That is not an obligation of Voltaire's. I would never let someone on one of these boards get to me and if they did I would only blame myself. I would never come back and question them. Voltaire owes me nothing. If I want to read his comments that is entirely up to me.....and the same goes for you. I do my own research, I have never taken a message from the board and invested on that information alone. If you want a professional's advice there are plenty. I don't need their lies. I will take Voltaire's honesty any day.

How many times have the brokerage houses given you the correct information for a weeks performance. Not! Oh yes! Then there is CNBC..........I prefer what Voltaire says to either....You should be upset with every brokerage house for the last how many years that have told us the sky is falling. They have been wrong. We need corrections..500-1000 points is nothing like it use to be. You're talking 5%-10% Sooooooooooooooooooo...

Do you get as upset when the brokerage houses (don't forget now they are the pros..HA!) give you ill advice??? That's whose board you should be on....Just put in their name.com and give them a piece of your mind. Oh Yes! And why not contact CNBC.com. Give them a piece of your mind while you are at it.

You must also understand that Voltaire is not a day trader and I don't believe most of those on this board are day traders. Surely there are boards that cover day traders and surely they have someone that would be correct in everything they say. Perhaps someone that is a little more interested in the Fundamentals and Tech. side of things. Maybe someone from one of the brokerage houses that you can take their word to the bank.....Yea Right!

Anyway hope this sheds a little light on our feelings about Voltaire.

Want to wish you the very best in all of your investing. There is plenty for us all. We must not be selfish....I am satisfied with the crumbs...There sure has been a Lotta Crumbs and we have a lot to be Thankful For.

Bridge Player! May all your dreams come true!!!

To Voltaire

Oh Yes! Voltaire if you should read this. I want to thank you for all of your posts. I look forward to all of them ....right or wrong......I'll be the judge of that. I do have a mind of my own and capable of making my own financial decisions. May we hear from you....soon...

"I guess I am just a crazy fool", "A fool in love with you!!!!" Sounds like a song to me!!! How Sweet it is!
