mark lo, do you have an open order for ALTA on your Open Orders page at Wit Capital? If you do, you are OK.

First: When Wit sent out the e-mails, most people replied without reading much (instinct, you know). Going back, I and others noticed the link in the Wit e-mail that I replied through had Affinity in the URL.

Second, I sent Wit an e-mail asking them how they knew if I was through the Affinity Program or not and here is their response:

"Thank you for your inquiry.

One email alert was sent to all Wit Capital members for the ALTA IPO to place conditional offers. All Wit Capital Accountholders were able to place conditional offers. We would be able to identify DSP member through the registration of investor codes.
