Scumbria, Two to a car would reduce consumption by more than 50%. Must be the school of "new math", it wouldn't be that great as trucks, buses and current car poolers will not be in the equation. At best you might see a 30 percent reduction if that. rhetoric about the future So the future is rhetoric? Just bury your head in the sand, seems it worked for California. No new "net" energy generation brought online in hte last ten years, did you notice all the steam generation plants being closed - "insufficient steam" was the cause. So much for alternate energy sources.
