The guy cracks me up on a regular basis. I actually heard this on the news and nobody said a peep about it... I remember thinking it was odd even after he saw the look of shock on the faces of the audience at his lie... so he quickly added "all kidding aside" about getting his start at Delaware State, a historically Black university. What bothers me more is we've had affirmative action and elimination of Jim Crow laws for 50 years yet it is still OK to have "all black" colleges and student unions and then expect everyone to be "treated equally." The Democrats are to blame as the republicans under George Bush did a great job of picking super highly qualified people of color without making a big deal of it... as it should be. General Colin Powel, Elaine Chao and Condi Rice were EXCEPTIONAL people in their roles who just happened to be "of color." We've gone backwards... Bush 1 had our beloved democrat Norman Mineta from San Jose as his transportation secretary. It was a BIG deal to our Japanese population here (we have a good sized Japan Town in San Jose) but nobody said he got the job for being anything other than qualified. Biden set us back 50 years IMHO.
