No, the really important question is whether the reward is sufficient to the risk to even try. For every ghetto kid looking to be an NBA basketball player only a very small percentage will ever be one....for the ones who wind up out on the court the risk is worth the payoff but the majority of those kids would be far better off setting their sights on actually learning a profession that has a lower risk and more modest return.
