You know, I actually did reverse my time series data on the NDX and computed the stats going the reverse way to real time.... it was very interesting - it picked out some turning points missed on the usual way in the direction of time.... Only prob is if you need ten days data to compute the stat you can't do it in real time when you need 10 future days.... I'm working on this problem now.
