<<Have you ever had the headache though? Yes, I realize that I wouldn't even be held liable for the $50 they could, but I'd still have to call, have the account cancelled, wait for new cards, and fill out affidavits and have them notarized, and mail them back, and probably spend a little more time on the phone. Fraudulent charges don't go away with just a phone call.

Forgive me for not being the most trusting person in the world, but I guess I see the rotten side of human nature almost every day in this job,>>

Barb, I understand where your coming from and realize it can be quite a hassel. I guess I just don't think some people realize how easy it would be to get somebody's credit card number. When I look at how easy it would be and the many ways it is for someone to get my card number, I start to realize that there are much simpler and easier ways that someone who is the least bit resourceful can use toi get my personal info than the ways most people are worried about. I don't bother worring about an open windows here or there when there are so many doors I can't shut. (forgive me! I come up with awful metaphors!) I realize that if someone does use my card information fraudulently it will be quite a hassel, but take that risk in exchange for the convenience and protection they provide.

<<BTW, no lifetime memberships with SI anymore. It's $60 semi annually, and automatically billed to your credit card.>>

Wow, I remember being glad that I got my lifetime membership before they started charging for them <GR>

Erik
