It will eventually, when management changes enough and the culture forgets why we liked Apple's products and a competitor does it better.

However Toyota looks a lot like Apple. They've been killing competitors for years and have a loyal base. At one point used Prius' sold for more than new because of the demand (Just like Apple phone scalpers.)

Its possible Apple will just continue to improve their products for years. We will see now with Ive's larger power base.

Toyota's lead designer position was just changed. The guy wants to "jazz" up Toyotas designs so they appeal more to younger people. I hope they don't get too far into that because reliable and well built appeal more to older wiser people... Toyota's base.
