Bennet was in very deep trouble, but appears to have won thanks to Republicans nominating an extremist that made just enough mainstream voters uncomfortable. That's the striking thing about TP candidates - Paul and Rubio are in but Angle, O'Donnell, Miller and now maybe Buck are all toast, with 3 winnable seats and possible Senate control gone for the Republicans. The 2012 Republican nominating fest could be a complete circus as these different factions all compete to knock one another off while Obama sits back and prepares for whoever emerges. I'm really not too concerned about 2012 at this point, just disappointed at the wasted two years to come.
