There have been border clashes and skirmishes, not an invasion.

Meanwhile, the latest episode with the Ukrainain leader was the airliner they shot out of the air while supposedly testing their missiles?????? The airliner happened to be carrying Israelis if I remember correctly.

I see no reason to think they intentionally shot down the airliner. They probably consider the whole incident as an embarrassing and tragic mistake. The US shot down an airliner a few years back. The circumstances of the US shooting where such that less stupidity was required to make the mistake, but either way you have an airliner down and several hundred dead. I don't even see a good motive for Ukraine to shoot down the airliner.

Both of these guys, if not more dangerous than Saddam certainly are cut out from the same cloth.

It doesn't seem that way to me. Neither has led an invasion against an unthreatening neighbor. Musharraf is no saint, he might be further from it then most, but he isn't Saddam. Ukraine is even less likely to invade one of its neighbors then Pakistan. And again if they where as dangerous as and Iraq ruled by Saddam there would be less reason to move now because we have already lost the chance to stop them from getting nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles.
