Peter, you can view the latest financials from Lam at:

lamrc.com

I can't respond to the Value Line rating as a don't subscribe. As for their
horizon. The bookings for their 1st and 2nd quarters were 293m and 350m.
That total is close to their entire 1995 revenues.

In the semi-conductor business smaller and lighter is better. Less weight,
denser packaging means lower power consumption. The can't be done
without modifying existing equipment or purchasing new ones. Lam has
about 30% of the world market.

Another good measure is the book to build ratio. Its running about 110%.
That means for every $1.00 in sales there are $1.10 in new orders. These
orders will have to be filled and equipment is needed to do that.

Lam is well positioned and poised to take-off. I highly recommend that you
get on board but wear a G-suit.
