The words 'appear to show' are just like 'could be' or 'may indicate' or 'seem'. All propaganda red flags in this new era of gaining readers with click-bait.

Interesting that you would frame that language as "propaganda red flags."

The media is trying to sensationalize the whole thing. Why not....it's better click-bait. Look at the viewer numbers for Rachel Maddow. It's amusing to watch Dems once again think they've found the Holy Grail.

You have written that I am cautious in how I post. That is true. I do actively avoid jumping to conclusions, reaching beyond the evidence. How, then, do I express that caution? I use words like "appear" and "seem" rather than asserting a potential conclusion as fact. My posts are full of those words. I avoid absolutes.

So, you admonish folks on one hand about getting out over their skis. Then you characterize cautious statements as propaganda red flags. "It seems to me" that you are setting up a no-win situation. If you want moderation, it's best not to discourage it by labeling it as something negative.
