A little humor... A recent WSJ cartoon stated the following: "Stock prices fell sharply today on the fear that stock prices would fall sharply." I took a few finance courses in college. The only thing I can remember is what one professor said over and over: "The sum total of all investment knowledge is zero." My TA consists of the following: I buy stocks in companies with ideas or products that will change the way we live or do business. Broadcom fits under this premise, so I bought it. Whether my 'TA' is right or wrong, I'll have to wait a few years to find out.
