What matters is not truth - it's the actual trading behavior of the stock.

The trading behavior of this stock makes it apparent that no one is interested in throwing more $ at Amati until a signed contract is placed into evidence. Even your own speculations about investor reaction during the trip East support this hypothesis.

Why can't we just accept this and move on?

There have been unofficial and undocumented rumors floating on this thread about a contract signing close to InterOp; please do not link InterOp with this event. Amati would love to sign these contracts ASAP and announce them ASAP. But if a contract doesn't appear during or before the show, don't worry about it. It'll happen when it happens. Contracts will not be signed until both parties are happy, and feel they've established a good partnership.

I think it's encouraging that Amati officials feel so good about it that they're beginning to set some expectations in the shareholder base.

Then again...I'm sure there are a lot of people on this thread that don't share my outlook.

FWIW.
