...been busy. More today - Aviron (Nasdaq: AVIR - news) announced today that it has filed a Registration Statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission with respect to the offering of 3,000,000 shares of its common stock. The underwriters have the option to purchase up to an additional 450,000 shares (100,000 from a selling stockholder and 350,000 from the company) to cover over-allotments. Pharmacopeia, Inc. (Nasdaq: PCOP - news) announced today that it has entered into definitive purchase agreements for the sale of 1,860,000 shares of newly issued common stock to selected institutional investors for $117 million. The purchase price is $63 per share
