Rick,

Ithaca is not that big a town. We do have a mall about 4 miles away from here called the Pyramid mall. I wouldn't call it puny, but it is not that big. We also have an outdoor pedestrian mall in the heart of town called the Commons. There are a lot of small specialty stores and they are a bit pricier, but there is one that I think is especially neat because they sell holographs.

There are a couple of theatres, but there isn't a show playing every night. And there are is a nightclub or two and some cafe's where you can hear music, but again, the quality may depend on the night. I'll give you more information on recommendations as the time draws nearer and I find out when all this is happening and what is going on then.
