Well said. So much of the U.S. economy is built on technology, and much of technology is centered around semiconductor heavyweights. While Intel doesn't carry all the world on their shoulder, the kind of collapse that some people are projecting would cause a massive vacuum that would essentially affect everything around it. That's why I'm bookmarking a number of these projections, so that I can post them here in a year or two and laugh at the absurdity of them.
