Computer upgrade: I found out that my laptop switches between a slower integrated graphics processor and a high speed discrete graphics processor. When using an external display, it always chooses the faster graphics processor. I hooked my laptop up to an Apple Studio Display, and it was like getting a computer upgrade. My ProTA charts plot much faster. You can force the computer to use the faster graphics processor by turning off "automatic graphics selection" in Settings >> Battery >> Options >> Automatic Graphics Selection.
