Another idea, as I brought up earlier this season that might change the nature of picking for the post season and SB would be to create a 3rd winner for the season, a so-called Overall Champion where we'd add the scores from the regular season final results and standings to the pts. for everyone in the final results/standings in the post season and crown an overall leader. Now, two problems with this idea: #1) As things currently stand, I'd be the overall champ if we'd done that this year and I'm not sure my idea is unbiased as a result... #2) It places more emphasis on the post-season because of the much higher pt. totals possible -- the post-season winner(s) would have a big advantage for the overall championship than the regular season champ(s) -- and in my opinion, the regular season champ had to work much harder and/or be much luckier more often to win than in the compressed but high-pt total post season contest, so maybe we'd come up with a factor to even things out a bit, such as multiply the post-season score by .25 (or anything up to .50) to sort of even things out since the post season is only 4 weeks of picking and only 11 total picks compared to 255 total picks for the regular season over 17 weeks.
