May 8th was celebrated once, in '45 and it was called VE (Victory in Europe) Day. The real "Victory Day" was when Japan surrendered in Aug, after we dropped the bombs, and it was called VJ Day. "WW1 Victory Day" was called Armistice Day when Trump was a boy; today it's called Veterans Day.
