SO, BIG GURU!, WHO'S THE BIG R?!!!!!!
By popular request, for Don, Karl and the rest of us, be FRANK.
You've come up with a good guess, Karl, and Rick Rule even has two Rs. He could be THE BIG RR (ar, ar). I could only come up with a short list of names that contained Rs but most Rs were not as the first letter of a given name or surname.
We can give THE GURU! the benefit of the doubt that when, on Friday September 27 1996, he posted: "CYJ SHOULD HAVE A HUGE MOVE MONDAY I'M HEARING $10.00 BUY WHATEVER YOU CAN TODAY" that he didn't mean to say what those words are understood to mean in their standard context. He really meant that the stock would be at $10.00 by Christmas. O.K. Whatever (as the star of Clueless said). And when, on October 1, THE GURU posted "Honk (sic) Kong money coming tomorrow" and it never came, that's O.K. too. It's just part of the game.
But to claim that there's a very powerful promoter, THE BIG R, "with international contacts worth over 100 billion", that's going to lift CYJ and then not follow through with any back-up doesn't seem fair.
So, to help out THE GURU!, who has suddenly become bashful, I'm made up a short list of potential BIG Rs.
