to announce the commercial release of the WaveSwitch(TM) 9224 Workgroup Switch to the market. The launch of the WaveSwitch 9224 consistent with
Plaintree's plan of adding complementary products to their existing line of LAN Switches under the WaveSwitch(TM) brand.
WaveSwitch 9224 is a Fast Ethernet standalone switch with 24 10/100 ports and two optional gigabit ports. Built on a powerful, non-blocking switch fabric,
WaveSwitch 9224 will offer network managers features and quality of service needed by them to conserve precious bandwidth and improve traffic flow.
Management believes the WaveSwitch 9224, a wire-speed Layer2/Layer3 switch, is an excellent solution for a wiring closet, or a collapsed backbone, in a small or
midsize business or branch office as well as a departmental switch in a larger enterprise.
