I have been saying this for months, but I think that while the 5S matters, the low-cost iPhone matters more. Apple is going to be taking a big risk when they launch a ~$350 iPhone. They absolutely have to design/market the handset in such a way that it doesnt cannibalize 5S/5 sales.

I think that it is possible to do, but if they see cannibalization occur on the scale of the iPad Mini, then Ryan is going to be right in his earnings projections.
