Hi PG and RTQ,
I'm currently holding only RIG and GRP in the patch. I agree that SFY at the current price is attractive, only if one has a long term view. If NG prices stay depressed, I suspect that SFY will trend lower.

I've been a little concerned about putting new money in the patch at this stage, since I would very much like to see a retest of the recent lows and a definable bottoming process to occur in the major indexes, OSX, XNG, XOI. Likewise, I'd like to see a little more stabilization in crude and NG prices before I commit more money in this area.

I strongly believe in buying fear in the patch and I don't believe we've seen this type of action so far. The XNG in particular seems a bit too high for current NG prices and I'd like to see a substantial drop before loading up on the gassers. I think that drillers like GSF and PTEN have a lot of potential when the upcycle occurs and they are both on my wish list but day rates are still dropping and rigs are currently being cold stacked. Once a washout happens, that's when I'll come a running...

I've also been very successful trading beaten up techs over the past 6 months and it's an area where you can still "buy fear".
