Just FYI- the music in Across the Universe is as "Beatley" as the Moulin Rouge songs are "Maddona-y" or "Elton-y". It's NOT the Beatles- I can guarantee that. I think you really might enjoy it. For me it was like Hair (which I love) and Moulin Rouge (which I love). I will own it. For me it was just perfect- but as you can see on this thread, we all have our tastes. Yours sounds a little like mine, though, so you might really enjoy Across the Universe.
