I think the German idea for Greece to auction off an island has some merit. Maybe a rent to own would be more palatable.

That would be a slap in the face but also a huge wakeup call to Greek citizens.

A simple vote:

Default and deal with austerity and inflation

or

Auction off an island

Your choice.

This is the sort of things a good parent does.
