Jozef: Than there is the separation of Anderson's traditional business (Audit) vs. Consulting, who have almost nothing to do with the traditional business. The Consulting is probably who worked with AMD. You do not understand the problem. Andersen, the auditor, can not advise a company how to circumevent audit issues. But, Andersen, the "consultant", can. Arthur Anderson, Anderson Consulting, ne Accenture. ALL the big five did and do this. It is dishonest, it is a conflict of interest, it results in unreliable reports, It is systemic by definition to THE ENTIRE ORGANIZATION. It is presently against the law. We do not need more laws. We need a Congress that will allow the present laws to be enforced. End of Rant.
