The R's control the WH, Senate, and House, which makes it the Trump Shutdown. No, the only way "the R's" could pass the clean resolution in question, which continues funding the government, would be to end the Senate's ability to filibuster legislation and allow a simple majority (democracy) to enact legislation. Thank the late Harry Reid (D-NV) for opening that can of worms. Democracy (mob rule) is wonderful, if your mob happens to be in the majority. In the meantime, it's Schumer's filibuster that's holding up the funds and the longer they drag it on, the worse it will be for the Dems. Too many of their constituents want their free shit to continue uninterrupted..
