Our little terrier type doggie is on his last legs. He's totally deaf and largely blind. Spends most of his time sleeping. When the power was out Friday night, he somehow made it downstairs and then could not see well enough to get back upstairs. I heard him whimpering and came down to find him behind the Christmas tree. I believe 2008 will be his last year. For whatever reason I do not feel the same bond with this dog that I had with my last two dogs. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he went around peeing on the wallpaper when we first got him????
