I read and re-read 'The Secret' book and also watched the DVD.
(Agree that Abrah-Hicks also are doing similar work). Anyway I feel
that one of the reasons 'The Secret' doesn't work for all is that
not everyone comes with the same pre-earth karma contract.
If you have a person who has had a well paying job, steady housing,
no divorce, etc and pretty much manifested that before they arrived
on the planet then they could take "The Secret' at face value and
do more manifesting quite easily. However if you have a person who
has complicated karma to live through on earth, issues around money,
and also provision then that person will need a heck of a lot more
healing (on all levels) before even starting 'The Secret' work.
I have known people who went straight into trying to manifest using
"The Secret" (I'll refer to this as TS) directly and their results
were limited at best. What seems to amplify TS is to do work
with self-reprogramming in terms of delinking poverty issues FIRST
before doing the visualization and focused thinking TS speaks of.
A person is able to access re-programming using everything from
self-hypnosis techniques, NeurLingProgramming, asking Lightbeings
to re-do programming and erase past wrong teachings, using music
to erase/delink old programs, yoga of the mind to loosen this up,
and quite a few other ways. Reiki to eliminate negativity and other
such energy-techniques work quite well if you believe in them.
What I am attempting to say is that TS is good when there
is no pre-manifestation-clearing to be done. For the thorns of
residual old-programming (limitation, lack, etc) actually prevent
the new TS efforts from taking hold. The book makes no mention
of this except to basically say 'change your ways and miracles
happen'. For the person being told this and hoping for the best
but not being given tools to de-link old programs, it becomes
frustrating.
Another thing I forgot to mention is that working with angels,
the purple I AM light, Virgin Mary blue-light, and many other rays
also clears out as a pre-TS exercise.
I wish more people would be honest and come forward with
this sort of information I am sharing. Otherwise TS comes across
as a get rich quick pyramid scheme for the author of TS book
and I don't think that was her intention at all. She does want to
help...but perhaps doesn't go into enough clearing/delinking detail
for those who truly want to change their lives but have a LOT
of light-infusion/clearing to do first.
