Not this one. The phrase "It's all about oil" is dramatic and not very subtle. People believe it because it's a catchy soundbite. It plays to their fears of "the man" and the "evil oil barrons," and it relieves them of any thoughtful analysis on the issue. I exaggerated to make a point. No one except those with an axe to grind can take the conspiracy theory seriously. That's right. People bring it up because the behavior does look suspicious and its a way of railing against the current administration. Its also acts a thinly veiled warning to not even go there. However, if there were any truth to the matter, than this country would no longer be a democracy. ted ted
