There is no federal common law reporter's privilege

Funny, I thought Erie v. Tompkins definively settled that there is no Federal Common Law except for interpretation of the Constitution (and there is no 1st Amendment protection for confidentiality of press sources) and acts of Congress (and there is no Federal press shield law).

I think they're smoking the ganja.
