Why planted? Lots of things are in the files. Epstein was kind of a concierge for the wealthy and powerful. That meant he held parties and other get togethers for them. He helped facilitate connections for people fundraising, too. The available evidence is that Gates was trying to milk that for his various projects. His wife looks to be aware of Epstein's girls and wasn't happy. It doesn't look like it bothered Bill, though. Much the same with the other Bill, albeit Hillary was more tolerant. Or understanding.

Prior to the child rape stuff being public, these things were widely known about Epstein. Lots of people were in his orbit for that reason. Which is why I figured the whole thing about the files was a nothingburger. Especially when Trump started to campaign on it.

However, given the lengths that he is going through to keep the files sealed, I have changed my mind. Is it money laundering, a passion both Trump and Epstein shared? Was it diddling underaged Ivanka lookalikes? Did Trump bat for both teams and was Sally to Clinton's Frank? Or something even more unsavory? I have no idea. But it is something that he is going to great lengths to hide.

And it isn't because Bill Gates was photographed with an adult, wealthy woman.
