This day you are simultaneously blessed, and forced to take a bit off of the table due to dividend going your way. Very difficult to fake dividend when the company does not have debt. The gold bank ATM is working well.

DRD will pay dividend
the gross local dividend amount is 25 SA cents per ordinary share for Shareholders exempt from Dividend Withholding Tax;
- the net local dividend amount is 20 SA cents per ordinary share for Shareholders liable to pay Dividend Withholding Tax;

One US share is 10 shares in Johannesburg, so the dividend will be about $0.11
- ADRs trade ex-dividend on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE): Thursday, 11 June 2020;
- record date: Friday, 12 June 2020;
- approximate date of currency conversion: Monday, 15 June 2020; and
- approximate payment date of dividend: Thursday, 25 June 2020.

The track record is here, bit random (due mainly to exchange rate of declared dividend and its conversion to USD), but also more honest than many more ‘predictable’ companies. As gold price stays high / rises further, then, happily, presumably, more random still. As of now we seem to be on a 6-months cycle; troublesome as requires entering into ledger, but we shall bear the hassle and grin.

Of course we have option of further enhancing returns by shorting some puts every so often on some discipline basis, so that we do not get put more even as we keep what we have.
