$Mogul: Excellent post. I agree that things do not look promising over the next 6 months. In addition to horrendous earnings reports and dismal forward guidance by the companies themselves, the April to September season is traditionally weak for tech stocks, regardless.

Having said that, I think the next few months will be extremely important in trying to give us a handle as to what the ultimate bottom for NASDAQ is: 1500 versus 1100. By the time September rolls around, the Fed rate cuts and increased liquidity should really be kicking in and it would be very unusual for techs to be in a bear market for more than 18 months. Unless the next 6 months are dreadful in the market, I will be looking to be fully invested by October. Having a feel as to whether one should be buying the NAZ at 1500 or waiting for 1100 will obviously be a critical decision going forward.
