Call me stupid, but what exactly did these bond holders think these companies were going to do with the cash? Did they invest the cash so the companies could draw 3% interest? Or did they invest so the companies could grow their business, growth which required the spending of capital, capital attained from the bond investors. What is all their whining about when the companies are doing exactly as they said.

Now I will say, If they are spending foolishly and lavishly on crap that doesn't serve a business purpose that is a problem. These companies should be watching every overhead dime, and judicially spending their capital budgets.
