The article you lined to didn't seem to be a version of what happened in the case. It was rather a report of the hearings going on now and only made a small refrence to the case. It didn't refute any idea presented in the National Review articles or provide much detail or any new theory about what supposedly happened. Refute, may be not but there was a difference in what transpired. In the Congressional version, Pickering made a motion for a new trail. In the NR's version, Pickering reduced the sentence. ted ted
